Hit Me up Widget
So there have been some questions about the hit me up link on my blog page. Pretty cool app if you ask me. It will work and it will actually call one of my working numbers. I live for fly fishing!! It is more like a way of life for me. I want to hear stories, listen to fish reports, reflections while on the water, and anything on fly fishing you can come up with. I find that it is a great way to get inspiration for my writings on fly fishing, so please by all means, "Hit Me Up".

Children
In the celebration of my new family addition, I first want to thank the staff here at St. Lukes hospital for taking care of my son and the precious woman in my life. Both are well and expected to go home soon. I can never say enough about the two passions of my life. Being a father to my children is the one thing that I truly live for and fly fishing is the one thing that keeps me sane. The season is seeming to come on strong this winter and the time to clean, bang out some flies, and reflect on what has hopefully been a successful season. Don't forget many places still have some good winter fishing as well. Check with your local fish and game to see what places are still accessible.
For those of you here in Boise, don't look past the Boise River here in town. Steelhead have been stocked and it has produced some fun fishing. There are also plenty of trout in that river. It is a great place to try out your new pattern and tweak it until it works just right, or practice a new technique that you want to better yourself for next season, and even just have a little time to yourself to get a peace of mind. I love to take people out and get them on the river this time of year too. I'm here for anyone interested in learning the sport or wanting to get away. Just give me a holler!!
Good luck to everyone still on the water!! Remember that God doesn't count a day against a person's life when they are spending it on the water. Drift it, Swing it and Nymph it; Just catch the fish.
